Today, Friday, November 11, 2022, marks Veterans Day in the US in honor of those who have served in the United States Armed Forces. The day is recognized in myriad ways with parades, church services, and flags flying at half mast. There are also freebies and discounts offered to veterans, active duty service members, and military spouses.
