Popeyes has launched its first-ever anime collaboration, Popeyes x ONE PIECE, in partnership with Toei Animation, the legendary studio behind the series. For the uninitiated: ONE PIECE is one of the longest-running and most beloved anime franchises in the world, following Luffy and his ragtag Straw Hat Crew on a quest to find the ultimate treasure (the titular One Piece) and claim the title of King of the Pirates. It’s got a massive, fiercely loyal fanbase, plus a hit Netflix live-action adaptation.

🍗 Luffy Bento Bundle

The full experience. Two pieces of Popeyes’ Signature Chicken, a side of Mac & Cheese, a Gum-Gum Fruit Lemonade, and Chopper’s Cupcake, all in one bundle. You can swap the Mac & Cheese for a different side if that’s your move.

🍗 Luffy Bento Box

The slightly stripped-down version of the bundle. Two pieces of Signature Chicken and Mac & Cheese (or another regular side of your choice.)

🍋 Gum-Gum Fruit Lemonade

Named after the mystical Devil Fruit that gives Luffy his rubber-stretching powers. The drink blends lemonade with pineapple, blue raspberry, and orange flavors, and it’s also available frozen. (No, it won’t turn you into rubber. We checked.)

🧁 Chopper’s Cupcake

A strawberry cake topped with rosettes of pink strawberry-flavored icing and white sprinkles, named after the crew’s adorable reindeer doctor. The most on-brand dessert possible for this collab.

About Those Collectibles…

Popeyes dropped exclusive ONE PIECE merchandise including collectible keychains, T-shirts, and bento boxes to coincide with the menu. But the limited-edition items sold out fast, which shouldn’t surprise anyone who’s watched anime fandoms move.
