Coffee has come a long way over the past decade or two and has moved into and reached our hottest summer days. No longer is it a steamy cup of bland bitterness that you have to acquire a taste for. Now it comes in many varieties of delicious tasting goodness for a cup you’ll crave every day! In today’s world, coffee isn’t simply a wake-up or a warm-up, it has now morphed from an all-day affair to an after-dinner treat. From iced coffee to frappe’s, caffeinated or decaf for those who must avoid caffeine, coffee is now a beloved standby that you can enjoy at home anytime, day or night, and any season! Did you know that aside from being delicious, there is increasing research that shows coffee drinkers, compared to nondrinkers, are less likely to have type 2 diabetes, Parkinson’s disease, dementia, cases of certain cancers, heart rhythm problems, and strokes? As if that is not enough, to get you perked up for summer, here are three iced coffees that you’ve just gotta try!
