November 4th, 2025
The holidays are officially here at Cracker Barrel — and this year, there’s even more reason to celebrate.
Cracker Barrel’s holiday menu is packed with returning favorites and exciting new additions. Whether you’re craving something sweet for breakfast or looking for comfort-food dinner, they’ve got you covered.
Cracker Barrel’s bringing some fresh faces to the table this year, and they’re not messing around.
New breakfast items:
Breakfast Burger – Half-pound beef patty, American cheese, their signature hashbrown casserole, bacon, and a sunny-side-up egg all on a toasted bun. Can also be ordered for lunch or dinner.
Sausage & Egg Hashbrown Casserole – Hashbrown Casserole loaded with smoked sausage, scrambled eggs, melted cheese, peppers, green chiles, crispy fried onions, and sawmill gravy.
Butter Pecan French Toast Bake – Vanilla custard-soaked country bread with cheesecake filling, crunchy praline pecan streusel, and butter pecan syrup.
Cheesy Grits – Savory grits with Colby cheese.
New lunch/dinner items:
Herb Roasted Chicken – Oven-roasted half chicken crisped to perfection and smothered in citrus herb sauce.
Creole Catfish – Grilled catfish topped with zesty creole sauce and crispy fried onion straws.
New family meals are also in the mix, including All-Day Chocolate Chip Pancake, Pecan Pancake Breakfast options, and a Fried and Grilled Crispy Tender Dippers meal. Feeding the whole crew just got easier.
The Favorites Making a Comeback
These are the dishes people have been asking about since last holiday season.
Beloved breakfasts:
Cinnamon Swirl French Toast – Cinnamon streusel bread griddled to golden perfection, topped with cinnamon and cream cheese icings. Comes with two eggs and your choice of bacon or sausage.
Uncle Herschel’s Favorite Breakfast – Two farm-fresh eggs, choice of breakfast meat, two sides, plus biscuits and gravy. A fitting return as Cracker Barrel goes back to its roots (more on that later).
Turkey Sausage – The breakfast side everyone requested is back.
Lunch/dinner faves:
Country Fried Turkey – Hand-breaded turkey tenderloins fried golden, topped with herbed pan gravy, served with two sides, cranberry relish, and biscuits or corn muffins. Thanksgiving vibes without the three-day prep.
Big Easy Steak & Shrimp – 10 oz. New York strip topped with grilled shrimp and creole sauce. Two classic sides plus biscuits or corn muffins. Fancy comfort food at its finest.
Broccoli Cheese Casserole – Tender broccoli and rice baked in rich cheese sauce, topped with buttery cracker crumbles. The veggie side that doesn’t feel like a veggie side.
Plus, weekend warriors can grab Nashville Hot Southern Fried Chicken or Honey Butter Southern Fried Chicken on Saturdays and Sundays, and Mondays mean Shrimp & Grits Skillet with andouille sausage and zesty creole sauce.
Sweet Stuff You Can’t Miss
CB’s pie game is strong this year with classics returning as whole pies and slices:
If you’re looking for something decadent, look no further than the Cinnamon Roll Pie with the rolls baked into a buttery, flaky pie crust and drizzled with sweet cream cheese icing.
Other returning pies include: Pumpkin, Apple Streusel, Chocolate Pecan and Pecan.

The Logo Drama: A Happy Ending!
Remember the snafu with Cracker Barrel’s new logo that nobody liked? There’s good news! The company reversed its logo change and confirmed that the “Old Timer” logo is sticking around. “Our new logo is going away and our ‘Old Timer’ will remain,” Cracker Barrel announced
Cracker Barrel also suspended all restaurant remodels.

The vintage Americana is here to stay: rocking chairs on the porch, fireplaces, peg games, and antiques from their Lebanon, Tennessee warehouse.
Looking Ahead
With the holiday menu officially here and the classic Cracker Barrel experience firmly in place, it’s a great time to plan your visit. Plus, the Old Country Store is decked out for the holidays with seasonal décor, gifts, and nostalgic finds. It’s basically a one-stop shop for holiday meals, treats, and gifts. Uncle Herschel would approve. 🎄
