So, now we want to give back by helping you find some freebies and great deals designed just for you. It would be impossible to repay you for all the sacrifices you’ve made but as you get a free meal or gather some deals, it’s our hope that you will be reminded of how we remember you and the hero you are!



Fogo de Chão


Enjoy savings on Memorial Day as Fogo de Chão is offering 50% off the meals of all veterans and active-duty personnel on May 30. In addition, up to three of their guests will receive 10% off their meals.


Carrabba’s Italian Grill


All year and especially in honor of Memorial Day, military service members receive 10% off at Carrabba’s Italian Grill with the restaurant’s Heroes Discount.




Olive Garden


When celebrating with the family at Olive Garden, take home an extra entrée for just $6 each. With the extra meals and the savings, you can relax and enjoy the whole holiday weekend. Those entree choices include Fettuccine Alfredo, Five Cheese Ziti al Forno, and Spaghetti with Meat Sauce.


Sonic Drive-In


At Sonic, the kids will be smiling with you with the buy one get one free hot dog from May 27 to 30. Using the app, choose between Chili Cheese Coneys or All-American Hot Dogs!




Ace Hardware  


Ace hosts an annual One Million Flag Giveaway every Memorial Day weekend, giving away a free 8-inch by 12-inch U.S. flag on May 27. The flags are available at participating locations, while supplies last.


Ford


Ford offers a special discount on vehicles for military personnel and first responders which goes beyond Memorial Day. This offer is valid year-round!




Armed Services YMCA


This organization provides military members and families eligible for the Military Outreach Initiative, access to gym memberships and respite child care services.


Fire Department Coffee


This business was founded by a Navy veteran and firefighter/paramedic, so they know the sacrifices well. To give back, they offer a 15% discount to all active military and veterans.


Costco


Members of the U.S. armed forces, veterans, and their families who are new members of Costco will receive a $20 Costco Shop Card just for signing up.




Home Depot


At Home Depot, all current and former military can receive a 10% discount, up to $500, on Memorial Day weekend. Home Depot offers military discounts to all veterans on Memorial Day, July 4, and Veterans Day, as well as discounts year-round to current military, retired, and disabled veterans with an ID.


Free Bedtime Stories App


This free app for military families allows service members to record themselves on video and email the link to a family member back home. In addition, a physical copy of the book the service member reads can be requested and sent for free to the family thanks to generous donations by others. This is not limited to holidays!




Free Tickets


This nonprofit organization serves our military and veterans by providing an opportunity for them to relax and attend events with free entry. Free tickets are given to current military, honorably discharged veterans, and family members of those killed in action. VetTixer’s accounts are active when they verify service status. Tickets are distributed directly to military bases or claimed through the website. Sign up here.


Free Museum Access


Active military personnel and their family members will receive free admission to any Blue Star Museum, and there are over 2,000 of them, from Memorial Day through Labor Day each year. Check it out here.
